Behind the Birth: Meet Your Doula team
We’re a Jesus-loving, coffee-drinking doula team with a deep passion for walking alongside families during one of life’s most sacred and transformative seasons. With years of combined experience and hearts rooted in faith, we consider it an honor to support you through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Our approach is gentle, personal, and centered on you. We believe every birth story is unique and deserves to be held with respect, intention, and care. As your doulas—and your built-in birth besties—you’ll never have to navigate this journey alone. We move together as a team to make sure you feel supported, seen, and surrounded every step of the way.

Whether you’re sipping coffee with us during a prenatal visit or leaning on us in the quiet, powerful moments of labor, we’re here—grounded in faith, led with love, and committed to your experience.

Amanda
Amanda's journey into birth work began with the births of her own four children—each experience shaping her understanding of what it means to be truly supported in labor. Born and raised in Colorado, she and her husband started their family in the Salida/Buena Vista area, surrounded by the calm and beauty of mountain life.

Her first birth unfolded naturally, just as she had hoped. During her second birth, however, a compassionate doctor sat beside her and offered calm, steady encouragement. In that sacred moment, Amanda experienced firsthand how deeply meaningful it is to feel seen, supported, and safe. It revealed how God often works through gentle presence—and it led her to discover the role of a doula: someone who shows up with intention, holds space with care, and trusts in the God-given strength of the birthing woman.

Now serving families throughout Colorado Springs, Amanda feels honored to walk alongside women through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Guided by faith and compassion, her heart is to support families with warmth and respect, helping each one feel confident, empowered, and deeply supported as they welcome new life.

Meet Jamie, our trusted in house back-up doula. Her mission is to offer comprehensive support to families, covering emotional, physical, and spiritual needs throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
She honors the sacredness of life, recognizing each birth as a divine blessing from God. Grounded in faith, she prioritizes compassion, grace, and respect in her care. Jamie's aim is to add an extra layer of love and faith to the birthing process.
Originally from Wyoming, she now calls Colorado home, where she lives with her husband of two decades and their four children, ranging in age from 10 to 17. While her background is in engineering, Jamie's journey into doula work was sparked by her own transformative experiences as a mother. She vividly recall's the nervousness of her first pregnancy and the profound impact of having a supportive doula by her side during 23 hours of intense back labor. This positive experience, along with subsequent births, fueled her passion for pregnancy and childbirth, leading her to extend support to other families embarking on the journey of parenthood.
